"The Manzo family is alive and well and happy. My boys both have found a special someone," she said (via Bravo TV). And while little is known about Christopher's 'special someone,' Albie has since continued to give fans a glimpse of his romance with Chelsea DeMonaco. "Wishing a very happy birthday to the greatest person in all the land. Your gift this year is me not posting a video of you using the Oculus," the former reality star wrote in a 2021 birthday tribute to DeMonaco.
Now, a few years and many more adorable Instagram posts later, Albie has popped the big question. As you might have imagined, it was a family affair!
A birthday dinner turned proposal
Taking to Instagram, Chelsea DeMonaco shared a carousel of snaps from her engagement, which apparently had many of their loved ones in attendance. In the post, DeMonaco also revealed that Albie Manzo had a little help from his parents who pretended they were hosting a birthday dinner for his father, Albert Manzo III. "To an unforgettable night surrounded by all our loved ones," she captioned. "Also big shout out to Big Al for taking the hit on what was supposed to be his birthday dinner celebration. Promise we will gift you with some gran babies eventually." Celebrating the couple's milestone, Albie's mom, Caroline Manzo shared a picture capturing the lovebirds snuggled up at dinner. "Congratulations to @AlbieManzo and Chelsea Demonaco on their engagement! Love you both to bits and are so excited for this next chapter in all of our lives!," she wrote on Twitter.
The couple's engagement comes only shortly after Albie hinted at the engagement during a recent episode of his "Dear Albie" podcast. "I've been crazy crazy crazy busy. You're going to find out the reason very soon. Today is really the biggest of the craziest of the days. I'm sure there will be many more to come," he teased.
