According to IMDb, Caitlyn appeared on a few seasons of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" before nabbing a spinoff titled "I Am Cait." The former reality star is not a part of the family's new Hulu show, "The Kardashians," and she addressed the topic on Twitter. "I was there when this started from day one. I watched it grow. And doing the show for almost 20 seasons was one of the highlights of my life," she tweeted before calling the opportunity to work with her family "incredible." She added that "it is unfortunate to not be given the opportunity to continue with the show" but wished the family the best.
Though the star is no longer a part of the reality show, that doesn't mean she doesn't keep in touch with her former step-children. In a February interview on "Capital Breakfast With Roman Kemp" (via Page Six), Caitlyn talked about how Kim wanted her to meet Pete Davidson. In another interview, she didn't hold back her thoughts on Kim's ex, Kanye "Ye" West.
Caitlyn Jenner says Kanye was difficult to live with
Caitlyn Jenner isn't shying away from sharing her thoughts about Kanye "Ye" West. The former Olympian talked about Ye's relationship with Kim Kardashian on "The Pivot" podcast, revealing that "he was very difficult to live with." Caitlyn continued, stating that Ye was a big supporter of her when she transitioned, but still noted that he's a "very complicated guy."
Surprisingly, Caitlyn threw her support behind Kardashian's new man, Pete Davidson. "Actually, I'm really into Pete right now with Kim," she shared, adding that she was happy to have "a comedian in the family" while taking a slight dig at Ye and Kylie Jenner's boyfriend, Travis Scott. "We don't need more rappers," she said. "[Davidson is] very different than what she would normally date, but Kimberly has been through a lot with the guys she's been with, especially Kanye," she dished. "Pete is 180 degrees in the other direction."
As Jenner mentioned in the podcast, Ye was very supportive of her in 2015 when she was transitioning. According to NME, the rapper talked about it on an episode of "I Am Cait," stating that Caitlyn's transition was "one of the strongest things that have happened in our existence as human beings ..." He added, "You couldn't have been up against more. Your daughter's a supermodel, you're a celebrity ... and it was still like, 'F**k it everybody, this is who I am."
